response vs reaction

A reaction is an automatic emotional response that occurs when a person responds to a situation without conscious thought, often driven by existing beliefs, habits, or negative emotions such as fear, anger, or frustration. A response is a deliberate and conscious choice of thought or action after becoming aware of what you are feeling and intentionally choosing how to think or behave. In this way, reactions tend to reinforce low-vibration thought patterns, while responses allow a person to choose thoughts that feel better and align more closely with the outcome they want.
